A man knocked on my door…

A man knocked on my door and said that I had to move out of Aunty Meg’s house! “No rush” he said “you can stay for a couple of months.” When he left I felt as if I had to leave my old life behind.

Immediately I took the animals to Marty’s hill and tried to make them go. The last one to go was a joey. I moved out the next day.

I got a job as a fisherman. I did not like it, I hated to see them suffer. All we wanted to do was earn a living.

One night we went out gambling. When I got out of that casino I had no money. In the night I decided that I wanted to quit. So the next morning I went to look for a job. I found a job in the navy. It sounded perfect. Near the sea was all I wanted.
