Arthur leaves the Farm

When I heard the news that I had to move, I felt so alone and disappointed. I wondered where I would go.

I knew what I’d do with the animals. I sold the goat to next door and before long all the animals left as well.

Then a couple of days later I left. I didn’t look back, not once. I felt like I was leaving my whole life behind. I went to visit Mart’s and Anty Meg’s hill one more time.

I cried tears of distress. I was distraught. By the time I had left, my tee shirt was soaking wet.

I knew where I was going next. I was going to Sydney.

Hello everyone!

It’s good to see people looking at the website!
Why don’t you all tell us about other books that you have read and enjoyed recently?

Just give us the title and author of any books that have been exciting to read and then tell us a bit about what it is that you have enjoyed particularly!

I am reading a book called Animal Ark Bunnys in the Bathroom. So far I am at a part where a girl callled Mandy gets back from the
chocolate shop and there is a new pet shop in her town. She watches it being built and she spots some baby rabbits
in the shop window.

I’ve been reading a book called Matilda and I am at the part where Matilda plays a few tricks on her dad to get her own
back on her dad!
