This term we shall be doing quite a lot of work about life in the local area. At the moment we are concentrating in the way World War Two affected the lives of children and it would be wonderful to have any anecdotes or reflections, memories and stories about life in and around Shepeau Stow during the period of the second world war.
If you or any of your friends and relatives can add to our research we would be delighted to hear from you. The picture you can see is of “The Willow Way” a footpath that leads directly from the end of Queen’s Bank to Shepeau Stow. I wonder if it has changed much in 60 years?
